This year I really will

I just haven't worked out what though.

Yes, it's the new, sorry, New Year and the world is riddled with good intentions. Gym memberships bought as gifts will be redeemed, exercise equipment dusted off and a million diet books propped open on the kitchen tops. By March the nation will be fit, slim and the NHS will go into semi-retirement due to a lack of customers.

Or.

This happens every year, and it needn't. There is a simple way to make sure you have the best chance of carrying these resolutions past the first of February and actually achieving something.

Just over a year ago my Wife and I embarked on a programme of change. We learned how to hypnotise people. The idea was we'd become hypnotherapists and endeavour to help people become who they really wanted to be; that fit and healthy non-smoker, oozing with self-confidence.

It was a remarkable trip. Over the length of the training we learned some really rather simple ways of getting people to do what they wanted but felt they couldn't, In our little group of students we managed to cure a nail biting problem, stop smoking and restore a modicum of self-confidence among ourselves. Since graduating we have seen how a small amount of input can make a major change to a person's life by removing various fears and giving back the ability to enjoy your own life. Yes, this is shameless self-promotion but I don't care. It works. As Me & Mrs Jones Hypnotherapy we really do want to help.
